Project summary
Do you know a good vibe when you see one? Or rather, when you feel one? If you're at home, or if you're at a restaurant, what contributes to a great vibe? The obvious answer is 'the people', right? But what if we ask what came first — the personalities or the traits of the environment they entered?

Take a second to think about your home. Does it make you energised, relaxed or stressed? Why? Let's consider the tangible items that contribute to what we call 'invisible influences':

— Do you worry about damaging overly fancy materials?
— Are the acoustics so bad you can't hear yourself think?
— Are your entertaining systems not pulling their weight?
— Is your kitchen functionality holding back your hospitality?
— Is your seating arranged for conversation or screens?
— Do you lack visual points of interest?
— Are conversations interrupted by trivial distractions?

The pattern you might notice from the collision of these concepts - material angst, hard surfaces, the relationship to music, form over function, technology – these are traditionally all elements in the pursuit of contemporary 'luxury spaces'.

Does the pursuit of a more perfect environment to live or dine in actually create the perfect conditions for nothing to happen at all? This project is about a cure to these conflicts. Alleviating anxiety. Feeling your best self. Total comfort and a space for humans.
